About Us

We're a senior-only product studio. Nine years, four studios, one way of working: small teams who own outcomes, not tickets.

Our story

It started with two engineers who were tired of watching good products die in handoffs.

Pick a year to see what changed. The through-line hasn't: the people who design and build the thing are the people who talk to you about it.

Today

Four studios, 140 people, still senior-only

Bengaluru, Dubai, Singapore and Austin. Fourteen countries served, 31 million monthly users on software we built, and the same rule as the rented desk: the team you meet is the team you get.

Who we are

140 people who would rather build than pitch

No junior benches, no offshore layer, no account manager between you and the person writing the code. The median engineer here has eight years of shipping behind them and has taken at least three products to market.

We work in squads of four to six, embedded with your team, on your rituals — and we hand back documented, owned, boring-to-maintain systems.

Mission & vision
Mission

Make serious software feel simple to the people who have to use it.

Most enterprise software is built for the buyer, not the user. We take the hard, regulated, high-stakes problems — payments, care, logistics, industrial data — and ship products people actually want to open.

Vision

A studio where AI does the repetition and people do the judgement.

By 2030 we want every Sedawk squad to deliver what took twelve people in 2020 — with the same senior craft, at a third of the cost, and with the savings shared with the client rather than the margin.

We measure ourselves on one number: how much of what we ship is still in production three years later. Today it's 91%.

Our values

Five things we actually argue about

Not wall posters — the tiebreakers we use in code review, in pitches and in performance conversations. Hover any value to see how it shows up.

01

Craft beats volume

One considered release is worth five rushed ones. We would rather cut scope than ship something we would not use ourselves.

Shows up as: any engineer can hold a release.
02

Own the outcome

The job is the client’s result, not the ticket. If the spec is wrong, we say so before building it.

Shows up as: engineers on every client call.
03

Say the hard thing early

Bad news travels fastest here. Slipping dates, shaky architecture, a decision we disagree with — week one, not week six.

Shows up as: no-blame postmortems, every time.
04

Teach what you learn

Knowledge that lives in one head is a risk. Write it down, present it, pair on it, hand it over.

Shows up as: mentoring counts in every review.
05

Leave at six

Sustained pace, not heroics. Crunch is a planning failure and we treat it as one.

Shows up as: on-call is paid and rotated.
Why choose us

Four reasons clients pick us over a bigger name

And the honest version of each one — including where a bigger firm might suit you better.

The team you meet is the team you get

Named engineers in the proposal, same names in the standup on day 90. No bait-and-switch after signature.

Something real every Friday

Working software in your hands weekly from week two. You can course-correct in days, not at a phase gate.

AI in the delivery, not the deck

Our own tooling takes 40–70% out of the repetitive build. We price the saving in rather than keeping it.

Built to be handed over

Documentation, runbooks and a paid handover sprint. If you never call us again, that's a success.

When we're not the right fit

If you need 60 contractors next month, a fixed-scope RFP answered in a week, or the cheapest possible rate card — we'll tell you on the first call and point you somewhere better.

Our process

Five phases, weekly proof.

Every phase ends in something you can open, click or measure — never a status document.
